I have been using ChatGPT specifically for analyzing qualitative data for the past month within Google sheets and here are my takeaways:

Pros:

1. Efficient method for extracting numerical data and summarizing paragraphs into themes or keywords

2. One can analyze live data that updates in a Google Sheet

3. There are a wide range of prompts for different types of data analysis

Cons:

1. Inaccurate results output, requiring careful checking to avoid errors and incorrect conclusions

2. Can be costly when analyzing large data sets for small businesses/individuals with restricted budgets

3. Security concerns due to possible data breaches if unauthorized access to the Google Sheet occurs. Personal information should be removed to avoid sharing sensitive information.

In summary, ChatGPT provides an effective tool for qualitative data analysis, but users should be aware of its limitations and take appropriate precautions to ensure data accuracy and security.
