About Me

I hold a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's in Industrial Engineering, with seven years of work experience. I began my career in engineering, holding three positions over three and a half years at the world's largest steel manufacturing company. During this time, I gained a diverse skill set, including: 

• Design and manufacturing engineering 

• Project management 

• Process improvement and modeling 

• Strategy development 

In a turn of events, I was headhunted to work within  the fast-paced e-commerce industry. For three years, I led Marketplace Operations at South Africa's largest e-commerce platform, managing 12,000 active small South African businesses. My role involved leading a diverse team to make the platform cost-effective, efficient, and a catalyst for high growth. This role significantly impacted my personal and professional development. 

With the desire to experience living abroad, I am now the Operations Excellence Product Manager at Workwize BV, a rapidly growing startup in Amsterdam. In this role, I have dual responsibilities as both team lead for the e-commerce service and product manager. Leveraging my engineering and operations management experience, I am building a scalable e-commerce platform within a SaaS solution that enables zero touch asset management. 

I am passionate about social upliftment and helping those I come across. I consider myself an adrenaline junkie, nature enthusiast, and Formula One fan. On the weekends, you can find me outdoors, hiking, paddleboarding, or watching a Formula One race.
